About the Unit
- 18 beds with continuous EEG monitoring capabilities; PACS; electronic medication record
- Fast paced, dynamic and state-of-the-art environment
- Acuity based staffing ratio 1:2 or 1:1
- Neurology, neurosurgery, head and neck, and ortho-spine
- World-renowned surgical team; pulmonary and neuro critical care management
- RN-led daily patient rounds with neuro intensivist
- Unit-based educator
- Continuous Renal Replacement Therapy (CRRT) training available
Experienced RN Qualifications
- Current California RN license
- Current BLS and ACLS provider cards
- CCRN or CNRN certification preferred
- 2 years ICU experience in a teaching hospital strongly preferred
- Comprehensive Critical Care Core didactic and clinical training program available for acute care RNs who would like to transition into ICU
